Sometimes standing still
Feb. 3rd, 2006 11:49 pmDoes anyone know how to get an autographed Ryan Seacrest picture? I've though up a crackafied April Fool's plan for Jen (she who hates the man). Mwhahaha. We actually figured out tonight how to win once we were put in jail for throwing things at him. After several rounds of "clicks" from our parents/friends/Ryan Seacrest, Simon would bail us out and throw a party. Since we would have a restraining order against Ryan, Simon would then hire us to be his "bodyguards" in order to keep Ryan at a safe distance. We win!
I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but there is no Lestat comic for tonight. My brain was rather involved with "fun and exciting" readings for class. Sounds exciting, right?
Well, daguerrotypes are certainly fun. Tonight I was describing this early daguerrotype to Jen. It was of a Paris street scene during the day. Except it appeared there was nobody on the street except for a single man. The man who stopped to get his shoes shined. Everyone else was in motion, so they missed being recorded and preserved for all time. As I was describing how this could reflect on life, Jen told me that if we were moving any slower, we would start going backwards. Or else be dead. I think that that would be true.
And now that I've taken my fill of Lestat icons for the moment, I think I really need to get a Jo March "(I made it better) I embellished" one. Just because
ladyshrew says that that is what makes my stick figure pictures likable.
Oo! Library book sale tomorrow! I'm excited!
