Rent, for a change.
Dec. 16th, 2005 11:31 pmI went to see Rent tonight with Jen, Whitney and her roommate. Having never seen Rent, nor ever heard all of the music (am I like way lame for admitting that) I can't really comment on the movie. Yet, I did feel it odd that after two songs, they still hadn't gone looking for Collins. I mean, it should take all of one minute to come up the stairs, not two hours. But, whatever. Poor Tom Collins.
Prior to the movie, I got to see Whitney's apartment, and my it is nice. It's all huge and apartmenty. Can't you tell I miss real life, seeing as I'm stuck in dorm life. Jen and I "ooed" and "awwed" our way through our pizza. Even better, we went to the bookstore down the street from where they live, and I found a discounted copy of Goodbye Tsugumi for a song. So of course I had to buy it. But, I didn't feel so bad since Whitney and Jen also bought a book each (Jen bought Plato-and not Play-do). It was nice to go to somewhere off campus.
This afternoon, I spent a shocking amount on a printer cartridge ($37), received pennies for book buy back ($1.50), and wandered around Borders (harassing Whitney). Did I mention that I didn't get up until almost 11 today? Which is totally shocking for me. But, who cares. I finally had a chance to sleep in, and it felt good.
