I really hate early morning flights. Like today, it meant that I had to get up at 2:30, and that was after I stayed up late watching the season finale of Battlestar Galactica (and I can't believe that we have to wait until October for the new season!) only to discover that it was being repeated about the same time that I was getting up in the "morning".

I had a fun spring break. In a word (or two): spring training. I really need a baseball icon.

But, I'm too tired for more thinking.

I do think that this has been the longest I've gone without even peaking at my LJ and friends page. So, if anything exciting and astonishing or even boring happened to you whilst I was gone, please PLEASE let me know. I probably won't be able to go back eleven days worth of entries, however much I love you all.

Ooh, pardon if I asked before, but which is your team? My own spring break doesn't fit too well with baseball :(

My team is the Mets, though at the present, I really have no clue who is on the team anymore since down in Florida I never got to see their games. Although the "home team" during spring break was the Cleveland Indians, because they have their spring training in Winter Haven. Which team is your team?

That's unfortunate. Especially because baseball is actually affordable during spring training!

Oh yay! Not the Yanks :) I'm an A's fan, so I have no animosity toward any NL team except the Giants, and if they suspend Bonds for steroid use I won't have much against them either. The Indians are actually not bad either - they're a lowish budget team that's creative and effective, so I'm fine with 'em until we're in the playoffs together.

I actually will get to see one exhibition game when I go home, but none actually down in Arizona. Alas, the regular season starts the day I go back to class! And the A's open at home against the Yankees. I'm very ridiculously excited about this season though.

Yes, I root for the other half of the subway series. ;) My friend here is drawing me closer to the Boston Red Sox side of things in the AL, but, after watching six Clevland games, I was able to identify many of them by name (which was tricky at first because their jerseys didn't include that information) so now I know them well enough. Though probably lots of those players I saw will be shuffled to the minor leagues for a while. Or traded. So, I guess it is good that they are ok with you for the moment. They did beat the Yanks on Sunday!

So where is the exhibition game? And who will be playing? This year there weren't all the big names in the games due to the World Games, but that is ok, cause I like to cheer on the guys who are trying to make the team, not the ones who know they already made it. Cause usually they don't try hard, while the new people give it their all, thus more exciting!

I love this sport!

Welcome back!

I... drew a Lestat bobble head, if that counts as astonishing.

I see that you could not resist its siren call and found it yourself.
