Apr. 21st, 2005 11:23 pmLovely, just lovely. I'm not sure if this is going to work as it keeps unsigning me off from LJ. I'll try, but I'll keep the angst for later.
So, a bit of ( the story )
Two more random things of note. I was in the library returning a book and overheard the two girls at the checkout counter talking about their boyfriends. One of them apparently turned 16 recenty and was talking about her 19 year old boyfriend who looks old. Like he's 25! Horrors. I've about reached the "old" status for teenangers. Now that is scary.
The other is a random bit of "humor" from August 1878 (as I was looking through my purchase tonight). It is: "There isn't much difference between an old Roman soldier and a cannibal who has just dined on a nice young female missionary, for the former was a gladiator, and the latter is a glad-he-ate-her too.
I have to tell you it was much better than what I think must have been a Mormon joke. Something about a newspaper in Alabama reporting that there were more women than Gentile men in Salt Lake City (or did I completely miss represent that joke?).
I also bought new shirts and sweaters from the $6.99 rack at Ann Taylor tonight. To be saved for college.
