From out of the past.
May. 17th, 2005 10:46 pmDad arrived home all safe and sound. Well, here home, I mean. It looks like they will be selling their house a lot faster than I had hoped as the couple with the offer on our house already has an offer on their house. Darn. As I headed off to pick Dad up, I told myself not the speed, but I did. Comes to driving, it seems I have a rather lead foot. I guess that makes up for going too slow in DrEd and afterwards. It wasn't until my driver's test that I actually worked up to the speed limit, and then was yelled at by the guy because it was raining. I just can't win.
I did go into work today, but when I attempted to leave earlier than I might have needed to, I ended up doing work later than if I had left when I should have. Yes, I win. I left work early to go to where the treasurer works to drop off some checks, and then she has me run to make deposits at the bank. So, I didn't get a head start and I therefore wasn't able to eat lunch. At least it's not the most important meal of the day.
At work I was really bored and came up with this "prize-winning" icon for my twin Sarah. I only show it here because I know it will never see the light of day.

While in Wales, we had mad amounts of fun watching Pride and Prejudice. We watched it enough times to memorize lines, and along the way, we gave ourselves odd little roles. Sarah was to be Mrs. Reynolds (cause she looks like her, only younger and prettier) and the man who givesColin Firth Mr. Darcy his bath. Thus the icon.
