I was woken up at five to go to the sunrise service at the beach. While there, we almost lost both of our pastors and a lady. She wanted to be baptised in the ocean and the waves were a bit big, so they almost floated away. It was pretty, just rather early.
I came home to an Easter egg hunt. Except, my mom had just put some of the old Valentine's Day candy in the eggs last night. I watched her. Of course, she is right when she says I hardly eat any candy so there is no way she is spending good money on candy I will never eat. So after I had managed to find all of the eggs, I put the candy back into the dish from where it came. My parents also surpised me with the dvd of The Incredibles, which I have yet to see.
After an hour's nap/reading time, I got ready for regular church and headed out again. This service was much longer. I came home and passed out on the couch. Well, technically no, but it's what I wanted to do. Later in the day I took a little nap when I couldn't focus on my book. We had the traditional ham for dinner and talked to the relatives on the phone. Later we went to the pool and swam for a bit before retiring to do the crossword puzzle.
I've been trying to find info on Big River tonight. Since I know so little. At least I can sing some of "Muddy Water" having heard that song a few years ago. Dad has decided that he will take me to the theatre and loiter around Sunday night. I feel really bad. If I had known that was his intention I would have bought a Sunday afternoon ticket so at least he could have gone somewhere to loiter. I really don't know what he is going to do. Though, it is nice to not have to dread the drive all by myself.
A Happy Easter to everyone!

Date: 2005-03-28 03:57 am (UTC)The thing is, the show will likely be slightly disconcerting for about 15 minutes, and then I almost guarentee that it will make perfect sense and you'll be charmed. :)

Date: 2005-03-28 04:23 am (UTC)The new Huck is really young and cute and I have heard good things. The reviews of the new Jim have also been positive (although I hear he doesn't fling his shirt off...) ;)
No passing out!
No shirt flinging?
Date: 2005-03-28 04:34 am (UTC)That's interesting how they do the mics, but pretty cool. Maybe I'll even learn new sign language from it!
Which is why I should go to sleep now. Hope you had a fun weekend with everyone!

Date: 2005-03-28 06:22 am (UTC)I forget how old Garrett Zuercher is. I don't think he's super-young, but he's really tiny and boyish in the role (or at least he was as an understudy).
Sleep well!
