I've been ignoring the hints I always got from Jane Eyre and now The Forsyte Saga. Apparently, if I want to meet a rich, English gentleman with a wife (who he doesn't really love) I must become a governess! Must want to teach little children! Woah, that's one too many epiphanies for the day. But, in other words, the library actually had the first dvd of the series. That's only taken a year.

I also spent about ten minutes in a store trying to explain the the clerk that when a box says that there is a bonus 5x travel mirror inside, that that means that it is free and there should be one in the box. Not, well that must be something that they are making up because it doesn't list the contents on the box. Um, right, it's all there on the side. I was persistant enough, and got a 20% discount on it. Mom didn't sound too displeased that she didn't get her bonus 5x travel mirror, as it is a Christmas present for her.

Work has been all sorts of boring these past few days. I actually miss my grant application. Although don't hold me to that, but at least it gave me something somewhat interesting to do. I spent some time reading about the soldiers in WWII who practiced deception. It sounds like something that I would have liked to do, if I ever wanted to join the military which I really don't. At least it let you use and expand your imagination.

[livejournal.com profile] talissarocsham, yay! Except, what is in Vegemite that makes people lose their invisibility? See, now I can ask you new, non-musical type questions. Aren't you lucky? ;) ::hugs:: thank you!

But what exactly is it? Does it have something to do with vegetables?

And all this time I thought it was smushed vegetables squeezed into a tube. How disappointing.

Vegemite is scary, scary stuff. I think the only thing I would be able to use it for is if I used it like a bullion cube.

One vote for it, two against it. It looks like Vegemite is losing its hold on the people.

It never had a hold on me. ;)

Vegemite is a powerful substance whose properties are not fully understood, and curing invisibility is just one of those properties.

Perhaps I'll have to find some and carry it around for those days when I'm feeling especially invisible.
